Google Adwords Consultant – Campaign Management – CopyWriting

What do I know about managing Google Adwords Accounts.  Well a part of my daily duties as my REAL JOB is to come up with keyword assignments for a Handful of Major Internet Properties….ie big websites.  So I spend a major amount of time using Google’s Keyword Tool.  I have used this Tool for over 5 years and consider myself to be an Expert.  I know that exact searches are the only true way to judge traffic.  Ever heard of Dynamic Keyword Insertion.  Well it can significantly raise your Click-Thru Rate.  I can recite the difference between global and local search volume.  And I can use tools like SpyFu to estimate what you can expect to pay.  I have also learned many tricks over the years.  Also I understand what position in the result will garner what percentage of clicks.  

I really cut my teeth many years ago when I went to work for a large scale online traffic school company.  They owned a handful of websites that provided services to all 50 states.  Thus I managed multiple Google Adwords Accounts across the country.  It was a great experience.  I also took care of other advertising campaigns with Yahoo, and MSN before it was Bing.  From there I bounced around and ended up at an Agency.  I did their SEO but also lent a hand managing their campaigns.  I was the lead Adwords Consultant on some big clients account.  And I wrote all the ad copy.

The best case senario is for me is to set-up your campaign then hand off the duties back to the small buisiness owner.   This is the true definition of Google Adwords Consultant to me.  Its great because you can manage your own campagins.  I will do all the set-up and leg work.  The keyword research, the writing of the Ads, and the launching of the campaign.  After the Adwords Campaign is running well, I will train the small business owner and that’s it, onto the next job.
